Aragunnu to Wagonga Inlet

Day 14: May 20th

A lovely slow morning soaking up the sun, swimming in the ocean, running on the beach, stretching and generally enjoying the lovely little camp.

Camp viewed though the wonderful tangle of trunks

Rode the short way up to Bermagui and had lunch. I got stuck here once hitching back to Pambula from Baitmans Bay and as a result ended up sitting on the beach watching whales in the bay which was a novel experience.

Day 14-5

The vegetation down by the coast here is very different to the mountains. I am enjoying watching the changes in climate and its impacts on vegetation and animals.

We found a great little spot in behind Narooma on the Wagonga Inlet.

I collected oysters and threw a line in the water. The fish were jumping but oyster and crab didn’t prove good bait. The oysters pasta was yum.

A few local kids turned up after dark and did a little fishing with a little more success and a lot more complaining about how bad the fishing was.
